Food was delicious, good value for money. We were asked very quickly about our wishes, but the meal then took a relatively long time ...

The friendly waitress told me straight away that the meal could take 45 minutes today. It took that long. Unfortunately, my turkey steak wasn't done. The waitress took it back to finish roasting. When it came back the fries were unfortunately cold. You could have put new ones on your plate. The salad has been in the kitchen for a long time. All the dressing was down in the bowl - there was almost nothing left on the salad itself. For 17, - € then too little.

A totally nice service, very concerned about the guests ... is the first impression! The food tastes very good and the price / performance ratio is absolutely right. Sanitary facilities are clean. Only the tables are a bit tight. Still a recommendation for this restaurant!

Turned up ridiculously late on a Sunday and staff there made us very welcome, kept the kitchen open and served great food despite the hour. As a large group we couldn't have hoped for more. Thoroughly recommended.

I had eaten there several times before... lately I noticed a change of ownership & a different yet friendly staff...but their offered snacks, dishes & drinks seem quite the same...it's not a restaurant but a small kind of Bar...best recommended for their affordable & typical regional dishes like "Maultaschen", "Wurstsalat", "Schnitzel", etc..

Schnitzel was delicious! Best meal I’ve had out in a while. Must have, the salad had amazing dressing too. Pictures : Before and After I guess you can say it was good.

Good restaurant with a small bar that serves local food as well as a few Thai dishes.

Traditional Kirchheim restaurant in the middle of the city center. It is a typical "pub" with a rustic and cozy atmosphere. After changing operators, the interior was given a new (long overdue) coat of paint and the menu was expanded to include a few Asian specialties. The duck in Thai curry and the "Bären Grillteller Spezial" (with a hint of lemongrass) are particularly recommended. Since the change of operator, the "Bären" is unfortunately not nearly as well visited anymore, but this is only due to the natives of Kirchheim, for whom any form of change is fundamentally bad and is therefore rejected ...

We were eating there tonight. Was delicious and the staff very nice. We would love to come back
